The HHA Board typically meets the first Wednesday of every month, year-round. Meeting dates and times are posted on the website calendar and are held at Griff's Ice House West
in the upstairs Ice Dogs office, unless otherwise noted.
Board meetings are open to ALL West Michigan Ice Dogs/HHA families.
All HHA board member positions are volunteer and board member elections are held at the end of every other season.

• Work through the VP’s to understand the organization’s standing
• Secretary and treasurer report to
• Oversee everything
• Work with the Hockey Director to oversee the Coaching Staff
• Ensure timely scheduling and cancellation of Ice Time with the Hockey Director
• Coordinate with MAHA and Adray reps to ensure good standing in the leagues
• Work with the president to support the Hockey Director and their initiatives
• Safe Sports Coordination Coordinates Locker Room Monitors and ensures teams have a safe sport
trained individuals for this
• Ensures and promotes a safe environment for all participants of the West Michigan Ice Dogs
• Plan and execute the Annual General Meeting (AGM), Annual Fundraiser, and
Bump-up-Showcase (BUS)
• Help Coordinate THFF events with the Growth Coordinator
• Assist Communications/Marketing in various tasks
• Schedule monthly board meetings
• Track board participation
• Keep notes and minutes of the organizational meeting
• Assist VPs in scheduling and tracking their meetings
• Create a unified organizational brand through team apparel options
• Ensure the availability and organization of loaner equipment, and track what has been
loaned out
• Work with vendor partners to support team apparel needs
• Create team gear packages annually
• Coordinate all manager activities
• Hold monthly manager meetings
• Coordinate and manage all activities on Social Networks (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)

• Oversee Fundraising and Events positions. Creates a group to work through all
responsibilities
• Disseminates all hockey communications to the Ice Dogs Organization through various
media options: Website, email, team managers, Facebook, social media
• Manage and maintain the organization's website
• Create marketing materials for various events
• Plan and execute THFF events
• Liaison with the 8U and under program (Mites and LTP) and advocate for this
group
• Ensure meetings with new parents in this group are occurring
• Act as RaiseRight Coordinator
• Plan and conduct the Annual Fundraising Event
• Pursue other fundraising options (dinners, giveaways, etc)
• Assist Communications/Marketing in various tasks
• Plan and execute the Annual General Meeting (AGM), Annual Fundraiser, and
Bump-up-Showcase (BUS)
• Help Coordinate THFF events with the Growth Coordinator
• Assist Communications/Marketing in various tasks
