The West Michigan Ice Dogs "Learn To Play" hockey program is designed as a fun and engaging program that focuses on fun and skill development.

Players aged 4 - 11

When

This program runs September 14, 2026 to March 3, 2027.

Where

All practices are held at Holland Ice Arena.

Practices

Practices are twice per week, for one hour each. Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM.

Games

LTP does not play in traditional games against other organizations. This program mixes drills, cross-ice scrimmages, and more, all during practice ice time.

Jerseys

An Ice Dogs jersey is provided with registration.

Fall 2026-2027

The Learn To Play program is for players aged 4 to 11. This is a first-time program for new hockey players, geared for ages 4 to 11. Ideally, players should be have some level of proficiency with regard to moving about the ice and being able to get up. Most players complete learn-to-skate lessons before enrolling in the Learn To Play program with the Ice Dogs.

Cost: $800
